About me: I am a biological anthropologist and associate professor at the University of Massachusetts Boston. My research integrates the impact of social and evolutionary forces on growth, nutrition, and health. In particular, I have focused on the long-term impact of war, refugee experiences, and poverty on growth and health of Southeast Asians (Hmong, Lao, Khmer).
