Sudeten Germans make their way to the railway station in Liberec, in former Czechoslovakia, to be transferred to Germany, July 1946. After the end of the war, 12-14 million ethnic Germans were forcibly expelled from other European countries back to Germany, in one of the larger forced displacements in history.
